On 26 August 2009, Allan Rosas, Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Communities gave a lecture on “The Status in EU Law of International Agreements Concluded by EU Member States”. In principle, agreements concluded by Member States but not by the EC are not part of the Community legal order but are, from the point of vie of the Community Law, seen as part of national legal order of the Member State concerned. In the light of Article 307, the recent case law and practice many questions has been raised. A vivid discussion followed the presentation. The presentation can be downloaded here.
