22.4.2010 Guest Lecture: Two Decades of International Criminal Tribunals

Professor Wolfgang Schomburg will give a lecture on ”Two Decades of International Criminal Tribunals – the End? Assorted advantages and problems from the perspective of ICTY and ICTR” on Thu 22 April 2010 at 18-20 in lecture room PIV (Suomen Laki) in the Porthania-building of the University of Helsinki.

Professor Schomburg has been working for several years as a judge at the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda (ICTY and ICTR).

The lecture is organised by the Department of Criminal Law, Procedural Law and General Jurisprudential Studies of the University of Helsinki, the Finnish Section of the Association Internationale de Droit Pénal, and the Ius Gentium Association.
